HighlightSnap was born from a real frustration on the soccer field: after scoring a goal, I wanted to note the time, but by the time I could reach my phone, I'd already forgotten which minute it was.
As an indie developer who loves playing soccer, I built this out of countless moments of "if only I could have recorded that." The biggest challenge was the video processing engine — I developed a dual-track compositing system from scratch, iterating through 6 versions to achieve professional-quality transitions.
